The Pyjama Foundation Appeal

Needs Your Help!!

The PJ’s Foundation Appeals is asking for your donations of NEW PJ’s for over 30,000 children across Australia who are without new Pyjamas. Image not having Pj’s to wear at night?

Please visit The Pyjama Foundation Appeal to see where your local drop off point is in your area…If every one gives at least one new Pyjama’s to the foundation then maybe they will be able to reach their goal 🙂

Here is a video I also made on YouTube….Please I ask you to share the video to your friends/your facebook page, twitter page, blogs/websites so that the video is shared and the message spreads…..

For the cost of about $10.00 for a new pair of PJ’s you will be giving some child a smile – image that 🙂

Out Of The Mouth Of Babes

From The Mouth Of Babes

I love hearing how children talk, and how they take everything literally!!

On the weekend just gone, we had a quick getaway to Rainbow Beach.  While we were there we got to see the different colours in the sand at the Sand blow.

After returning home the boys had much to discuss over the next few days, and to say what their favorite from the day was. We have a saying in our house….where at the end of the day we ask each boy what their favorite was from the day. Each time we ask each Woody boy we are blown away by their answer.

From the Mouth Of A Babe

Our youngest Woody boy was on the phone to his grandparents and I happened to walk by and catch what he was saying…..

“Now I know where Rainbows come from Grandma. They come from Rainbow beach. They start at the beach and then are put in the sky so we can see them”.

How priceless is that? I love how simple they like to make things.

Have you got a wonderful saying that your child has said? What has come out of the mouth of a babe in your household? Would love to hear your thoughts…and hear how cute your little one is?

Cheers

From The Woody Boys

Here Is A Video from Two Of Our Woody Boys…

I have posted this video here on Woody Boys before, but this time I have edited the music/video so that you can hear the boys speak about the “Gratitude Rocks”

Stay tuned for more – in a week or two our third boy who is 11 years old will have his idea ready to go, with a website set up. His idea is pretty amazing, even if I say so 🙂 I am proud of how my Woody Boys think.

Have you got a proud moment to share? Please comment and let me know how proud you are of your children.

Mothers Day

Looking Forward To Mothers Day Tomorrow

I am so excited. On Sunday morning I expect to be woken at some ungodly hour in the morning by three little woody boys with numerous breakfast choices/a weird cup of coffee, grins all round, and giggles on the bed.

The older two woody boys – being teenagers –  will be fast asleep and will miss out on all the fun. I am sure that they will have more install for when they do surface from their bedrooms!!

Mothers Day

I have overheard the three younger Woody boys talking. I am not sure how I am going to eat all of their breakfast choices 🙂 Yoghurt, Strawberries, Muesli, Cup of tea, Cup of Coffee, Jam toast and who knows what else they can manage!! I am so happy and so looking forward to waking up. Mornings are not my thing, I am actually a night owl – but this is one time the boys are allowed to wake me early – besides Christmas that is.

I love to see their smiles, and the wonderful cards that they make at school. Baby Woody – Kyle has been telling me that he has a gift hidden in his room for me. Actually all day long he has been asking me if he can bring it out to show me. I keep distracting him so that I can receive it tomorrow. He is so excited that he was able to make his first gift for the first time. Being in Prep School is really good for Kyle, actually he is thriving at school. He is coping much better than I am, I still get sad dropping him off at school 🙂

How Are You Spending Mothers Day?

How are you going to spend Mothers Day tomorrow? For all the Mothers of the World – Happy Mothers Day sent your way. May it be spent with loved ones, full of laughter, and fun.

Here are The Top 10 Gift Ideas For Mothers Day. Do you have one of the top 10 gift ideas? I think that I have at least 2 of the gift ideas. Would love number 2 – Spa Gift Card !!

I am so looking forward to have cuddle’s, kisses, cold breakfast, tickles and a good day. May all Mothers enjoy the day doing what you love doing best.

We are heading off to the beach. It is my all time favorite activity and I love watching my boys spend their day having fun.

Love being a Mum, love being with my Woody Boys.

Thank You Don Tolman

So Very Grateful To Don Tolman

Our fourth boy Cameron has had leaning challenges with regards to learning and reading. I still believe it dates back to the time that he was without oxygen at birth.

Well today he came home super excited. After David going through his spelling words with Cameron yesterday, using Don Tolmans method – (Drum Roll Please) he came home with a smile from ear to ear and his card in his hand. HE GOT 10/10 FOR SPELLING 🙂

That was the first time in a very long time that he got 10/10 for spelling and had all his homework completed in one day. Don Tolman “Boot Camp for Brains” was so very worth it. It all payed off.

Have you heard of Don Tolman? Or been to his event?

If not here is a small clip from You tube on how Don teachers

If only I had his method of learning when I was at school. Imagine how much time it would take to study the smarter way, instead of how they teach at school now days !!

Cheers

Our Boys Had A Blast

Our Boys Had The Best Weekend.

Over the weekend our boys had an amazing time. We drove down to the Gold Coast and had an experience. We took four of our Woody boys, are youngest was too young and had to stay at home. But I am hoping that the older two understood what Don Tolman was teaching over the weekend.

He is an amazing man, full of knowledge and understanding of how the ancient world used to work. He was able to teach about inner health, self education, and how to learn by sight. I hope in time that my boys take on board all that they learnt so that they can study in half the time/ but get higher grades.

Here is a video of the man himself, so that you can see how our boys were amazed by what he knew

What do you think? Have you seen Don Tolman live?

Cheers

My Kids Watch The Fridge

As A Mum To Five Boys I wrote this on how much they love to Watch the fridge and eat!!

Please Comment after reading the poem, I would love to hear your thoughts about how your family looks at food!

—————————————————————————

My Kids Watch The Fridge

My Boys are fit and healthy

They prefer to play outdoors from morning to-night.

It’s hard to keep them in doors,

we are a family without a

TV, a DVD, a Video Machine or a Wii,

We have books – Games and more.

My Kids Watch The Fridge

If they are not outdoors and you are looking for them

You will find them indoors with bum up and head down.

Bum up, Head Down, Fridge door ajar.

My Kids Watch The Fridge.

It’s funny to see, I am not sure what they expect

to find from the last time they explored.

Ask them what they are doing, and they give

you a look.

A look that says it all!

My Kids Watch The Fridge

And eat like they have never eaten before.

We only have wholefoods in our house,

which is fruit, vegetables, and anything that is fresh.

We do not have any thing that is round

like a donut or two.

We are not into packaged food with all those

hidden nasty food colourings, preservatives and chemicals.

We prefer to see them grow big and strong,

that is why they eat all day long.

If you were to come and stay at Woodys House

and see what Woody Boys can put away

You would be amazed at how fit and trim

they all look 🙂

My Kids Watch The Fridge.

Our food bill is growing bigger every week,

But we do not mind because,

they are so very happy and healthy.

We are amazed with how much their friends

have to eat,

their lunch boxes are filled to the brim with

all the food that makes us cringe.

We only like to eat the foods that

are green, orange, red, purple, and brown,

Not all the colours of the rain bow

cause they will send you mad.

When my kids ask me

“Mum, why can’t we eat like our friends eat?”

I look them in the eye and say its

“Because I love You” that we do the things we do.

My Kids Watch The Fridge

They love to eat

so eat they can, we know that

they are growing men to be,

getting bigger every day – two are now taller than me!

It amazes me to see how much junk food

is packed for school. How can a kid concentrate at school,

when they are eating all the rainbow of colours or more?

I wish that they could understand how to give

them a helping hand…..

Wholefoods is the way of the land, the way of life to be

for our boys are strong and healthy and fit as can be.

My Kids Watch The Fridge.

Thank you for stopping on by here to share with me. This is a poem from the heart, and in no way reflects any light into how you should or shouldn’t be looking after your family. It’s what works for us 🙂

Our Kids Today

Here are my thoughts about the society of our young children, our future generation…….

This Poem “Our Kids Today” is dedicated to all who are concerned about our Children

———————————

OUR KIDS TODAY?

What has become of our kids today?

Can you remember the times it was safe to roam?

Can you remember the times we had fun,

for hours on end and no one knew where we were?

What has become of our kids today?

They are happy to play computer games,

have a television in their room, with their own DVD, Game Station,

a Wii, D.S  and internet too.

But ask them to put it all down,

Switch it all off,

Open up the window for fresh air,

Turn off the Air Conditioner,

Switch off the mobile phone.

Turn it all off, Tune it all out and go for a walk.

It’s like we are asking them to cut off their own leg arm or both.

WHat has become of our kids today?

If the kids do not have all of the above they ask why?

Kids don’t get how to have fun anymore.

Send them out in the great outdoors and they have not a clue……

It’s such a shame, Such a Shame.

To see our kids locked up in doors, with no sun or surf or fun

Is a crime.

Turn off the power Mum’s and Dads

Let our kids become kids once again,

Push them out the door and let them explore.

What Has Become Of Our Kids Today?

These are my thoughts and feelings. They may not be yours, or you may agree!!! I write from the heart and am not here to write to upset anyone. So if you do not agree with my poem please be nice with your comments. All negative (horrible) comments will be deleted.

You Say, I Say, Who Says?

This Poem Is Dedicated to my amazing Woody Teenage Boys 🙂

You Say, I Say, Who Says?

You Say One Thing

I say Another

Your Friends say something and I wonder

Who you really believe, who you really trust

For I have walked your path before

as a Mum, as friend, as a lover,

as a small girl, as a daughter, as a sister,

as a Aunt and as a Granddaughter

Who Says what you need to hear?

What you need to know?

I say what I think is best to keep you safe

You say what you think you know you are talking about

BUT do you really know who says the words that will have

the best impact on your life?

Who says the right words so you can become the best person you were born to be?

I say I love you,

I say I want you to be happy

You Say I know.

Who says what you need to know?

Who says the words that are right?

Who says you will become what may?

I say that please do stay true to yourself so that one day you have the chance

to have your say.

You Say, I Say, Who Says?

———————————————-

Please Keep My Boys safe into young men, into young adults and into grown Men.

Thank you for letting me share my thoughts with you 🙂

Do you have teenage children? Stop by here and let me know your thoughts.

With love and wishes
