The Pyjama Foundation Appeal

Needs Your Help!!

The PJ’s Foundation Appeals is asking for your donations of NEW PJ’s for over 30,000 children across Australia who are without new Pyjamas. Image not having Pj’s to wear at night?

Please visit The Pyjama Foundation Appeal to see where your local drop off point is in your area…If every one gives at least one new Pyjama’s to the foundation then maybe they will be able to reach their goal 🙂

Here is a video I also made on YouTube….Please I ask you to share the video to your friends/your facebook page, twitter page, blogs/websites so that the video is shared and the message spreads…..

For the cost of about $10.00 for a new pair of PJ’s you will be giving some child a smile – image that 🙂

One Spoilt Mummy!!

Today Was A Great Day !

It started with Coffee and Fruit Toast, brought to me in bed. Then we went for a walk up Mt Ngungun, and back home for lunch. After a quick bite to eat I drove our oldest boy to his friends house…..who live on a Strawberry Farm 🙂 They gave us a whole tray of strawberries – the best we have ever had.

Then tonight David made Spinach and Cheese Ravioli with Tomato Sauce, and then for afterwards a Black Forest Cake for my Birthday Cake….gosh it was so very yummy, and so naughty !!

Here are the photos of the cake

Birthday Cake made by hubbyBlack Forest Cake Made By David

It was the most yummy cake David has made as yet….a Black Forest Cake for my Birthday. I was so very conscious of how much cream was involved in the cake so had the smallest slice possible……well it was smaller than Davids slice 🙂

Flowers brought yesterday for my BirthdayYesterday Cameron brought me these gorgeous flowers….he wanted to hide them and give them to me for my Birthday which was today, but David said that they needed water and a pot. I was over the moon with the flowers because Pink is my favorite colour, and because they were such a nice surprise.

Kyle wearing his Pirate hat for My birthday cake

Cute Kids

Here is Kyle, Baby Woody, helping me to celebrate my birthday, with him wearing his “Pirate Party Hat” that was left over from his birthday party. I think he was hoping that by being that close to the cake he would get a bigger slice !! Actually it was funny to watch him eating the cake because he got to the Berries and one of them must have been tart…the look on his face, Priceless 🙂

Here it says how high Mt Ngungun is, I hope it shows you how high up it is……Will include a video of Kyle Climbing as soon as I find where the video has been stored to on my computer 🙂

All in All it was a great Birthday – spent with loved ones, good food – great quality time together and lots of fun.

Thanks Woody Boys for spoiling me – love you boys.

Photo Of Rainbow Beach

A Quick getaway to Rainbow Beach.

I put together a video for the Woody Boys to enjoy their quick getaway. Most of the photos are from the boys taking photos, and even David taking photos (Mum got to have a photo with her boys for once!)

Love how cute children are.

Have you got a video of your children that I can see?

Out Of The Mouth Of Babes

From The Mouth Of Babes

I love hearing how children talk, and how they take everything literally!!

On the weekend just gone, we had a quick getaway to Rainbow Beach.  While we were there we got to see the different colours in the sand at the Sand blow.

After returning home the boys had much to discuss over the next few days, and to say what their favorite from the day was. We have a saying in our house….where at the end of the day we ask each boy what their favorite was from the day. Each time we ask each Woody boy we are blown away by their answer.

From the Mouth Of A Babe

Our youngest Woody boy was on the phone to his grandparents and I happened to walk by and catch what he was saying…..

“Now I know where Rainbows come from Grandma. They come from Rainbow beach. They start at the beach and then are put in the sky so we can see them”.

How priceless is that? I love how simple they like to make things.

Have you got a wonderful saying that your child has said? What has come out of the mouth of a babe in your household? Would love to hear your thoughts…and hear how cute your little one is?

From The Woody Boys

Here Is A Video from Two Of Our Woody Boys…

I have posted this video here on Woody Boys before, but this time I have edited the music/video so that you can hear the boys speak about the “Gratitude Rocks”

Stay tuned for more – in a week or two our third boy who is 11 years old will have his idea ready to go, with a website set up. His idea is pretty amazing, even if I say so 🙂 I am proud of how my Woody Boys think.

Have you got a proud moment to share? Please comment and let me know how proud you are of your children.

Mothers Day

Looking Forward To Mothers Day Tomorrow

I am so excited. On Sunday morning I expect to be woken at some ungodly hour in the morning by three little woody boys with numerous breakfast choices/a weird cup of coffee, grins all round, and giggles on the bed.

The older two woody boys – being teenagers –  will be fast asleep and will miss out on all the fun. I am sure that they will have more install for when they do surface from their bedrooms!!

Mothers Day

I have overheard the three younger Woody boys talking. I am not sure how I am going to eat all of their breakfast choices 🙂 Yoghurt, Strawberries, Muesli, Cup of tea, Cup of Coffee, Jam toast and who knows what else they can manage!! I am so happy and so looking forward to waking up. Mornings are not my thing, I am actually a night owl – but this is one time the boys are allowed to wake me early – besides Christmas that is.

I love to see their smiles, and the wonderful cards that they make at school. Baby Woody – Kyle has been telling me that he has a gift hidden in his room for me. Actually all day long he has been asking me if he can bring it out to show me. I keep distracting him so that I can receive it tomorrow. He is so excited that he was able to make his first gift for the first time. Being in Prep School is really good for Kyle, actually he is thriving at school. He is coping much better than I am, I still get sad dropping him off at school 🙂

How Are You Spending Mothers Day?

How are you going to spend Mothers Day tomorrow? For all the Mothers of the World – Happy Mothers Day sent your way. May it be spent with loved ones, full of laughter, and fun.

Here are The Top 10 Gift Ideas For Mothers Day. Do you have one of the top 10 gift ideas? I think that I have at least 2 of the gift ideas. Would love number 2 – Spa Gift Card !!

I am so looking forward to have cuddle’s, kisses, cold breakfast, tickles and a good day. May all Mothers enjoy the day doing what you love doing best.

We are heading off to the beach. It is my all time favorite activity and I love watching my boys spend their day having fun.

Love being a Mum, love being with my Woody Boys.

A Day At The Beach

Yesterday we took the boys to the beach.

We had so much fun. All three younger Woody Boys love the water, and the sand. We stayed nearly all day. They were so into making a sandcastle that it was almost impossible to get them off the beach for lunch. In the end I had to put my foot down and say no lunch, no going back to the beach after lunch.

We have a saying in our house “What Was The Best Part Of Your Day” and then the boys tell us what they enjoyed the most. Both Cameron and Kyle answer was digging holes 🙂

A Day At The Beach

The waves were that big some times that us adults got dumped into them. I was surprised with how big some of the waves were. Kyle was amazing. He had his first go on a boggy board and even though he was thrown off numerous times, he still got back on. Cameron, being Cameron was not going out far on the boggy board, he stayed close to the edge.

At the end of the day the boys had hot chips at the beach. I was good, I did not touch any of the hot chips even though I wanted to!! I am on Day 9 of my 14 Day Water Fast. Nearly finished 🙂 To see my story of how I am coping go here.

I love the Day at the Beach. If I could I would live at the beach. All the boys slept so much better last night, and even slept in this morning.

Next time I will remember to take my camera and get photos – some of those waves were gold.

Looking forward to our weekend of camping coming up in a few weeks time.

How was your weekend?

Searching For Gratitude Rocks

Our Woody Boys (youngest three) get “The Secret” – They understand the Gratitude ROCKS – without questions…without asking why.

Funny how smart our kids are – and how easy it is for them to understand the workings of the Gratitude Rocks…

Here are a few photos…will post a video soon.

Adding More To The Ingredients

More Flavour To The House……

Today we have two extra boys in the house. With five Woody boys already that makes the total of seven boys!!! Gosh that is far too many. Sleep Overs are fun for the kids, not sure about for us Mum’s?

I have forgotten how much cheeky mischief that young two-years old can get into. And add another four year old to the house and it has been interesting day…..a long day:)

We got them ready for bed after giving them as much as possible to eat – was hoping that with full tummies that they would go to sleep quickly and easily!!!

Gosh good thoughts but having a 11 year old, 8 year old, two 4 years old and a 2 year old in one room sure means no sleeping at all !!!

So the 11 year old was put back to his own room, the 8 year old was told that he would be sleeping in my room if he kept it up and the four year old and his two year old brother had to be separated. My four year old amazingly crashed – he was the first to go to sleep. Fingers are crossed that the others go to sleep very soon, actually toes and fingers are crossed.

Oh how come I can go to sleep so very quickly, as soon as my head hits the pillow I am asleep – actually my head doesn’t even have to hit the pillow !!!

Wish I had half the energy that the Woody Boys and a friends two boys have.

Do you have kids that are too excited to go to sleep?
